Harmony

When the day of my scheduled third session of tantric yoga came around, my entire body was buzzing with excitement. The last session had exceeded my expectations, and I felt I'd formed an amazing bond with Kayla. The connection we'd made was tender, deep, and thrilling. I couldn't wait to touch her again and feel her soft skin against mine. Soraya had said the third level would be where we truly joined our minds, bodies, and spirits and where we'd be able to explore our partner's bodies more intimately. Even though Kayla and I had already broken the rule about no intimate touching at the last session, I felt there was much further we could go.

I arrived at the yoga studio fifteen minutes early so I'd have a chance to chat with Kayla before we began the routines. She hadn't arrived yet, so I walked to the back of the room and placed my mat in a spot near the window. I wanted to have a little more privacy this time, where we'd be more sheltered from the prying eyes of the rest of the group. As more and more people filtered into the room, I watched the clock on the wall move closer to our appointed start time. There was still no sign of Kayla, and I started to worry. We'd promised to meet again for this session, but I'd felt it was too early to ask for her number. Was she having second thoughts? Was she feeling too embarrassed to come back after our intimate exposure at the last session?

The room was beginning to fill and by now there were only a few spots remaining on the floor upon which to lay a mat. An attractive woman in her late-20s paused at an open patch next to me.

"Is this spot taken?" she asked, in a sexy voice.

"Um—no..." I hesitated, looking up at the clock.

"Thank you," she said, smiling at me warmly. She laid her mat about three feet away from me and placed her belongings next to it on the floor. She had long dark hair pulled back in a bun and was wearing loose-fitting sweats and a T-shirt. I could see the outline of her figure in her clothes, and her firm breasts thrust out prominently in her loose shirt. She had an exotic beauty, maybe East-European I thought, with sharp cheekbones and an angular jaw. There was something mysterious and sexy about her that I found uniquely attractive.

"I'm Neve," she said, reaching out her hand.

"Jade," I said, stealing a final glance at the clock as I shook her hand.

At 7:00 p.m., a new instructor entered the room and closed the door behind her. I felt a knot in my stomach knowing that Kayla wasn't coming, and I began to worry if something had happened to her. I was already regretting not getting her number.

The instructor strode to the front of the room and smiled at some of the people she recognized. She had medium length blond hair tied back in a braided ponytail and a petite figure.
